Halfsky entered the camp, his jaws latched around a massive brown rabbit. This Greenleaf had flourished, and it turns out the rabbits were showing off how great their NewLeaf was. And in turn, Halfsky got to show off his hunting skills. Poor rabbit... But MistClan had mouths to feed. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, sent by StarClan or otherwise, the MistClan camp was now a crowded mass of fur and injuries. What used to be a cozy grotto tucked away behind a pummeling waterfall was now one big hospitality project in the works. Cats were in and out, gathering herbs, prey, moss, cobwebs... You name it, and there were at least 5 cats on the job.
And Halfsky was doing his part, accompanied by Jaggedstream with a decent golden carp, and Creekpaw, who had a water shrew and a blackbird. The other large warrior and younger apprentice were engaged in their own conversation, but Halfsky didn't bother to listen. His eyes were focused on the path ahead, trying to see where he could slide past his clan mates and temporary visitors. Though, most cats would scooch over some when they saw the large tom coming through, as he was one of the larger cats in the clan. The tom had a sort of intimidating aura to him. Probably because he wasn't one for chitchat or unneeded conversation. Halfsky's eyes were a deep, earthy brown that barely showed any emotion except for content, if by content one meant a firm, unchanging gaze.
As such, the tom managed to curtly pad over to the fresh kill pile without much of a hassle, as no tails were stepped on or fellow warriors tripped by accident. Once he reached the pile of prey, he gently lay his rabbit on the edge. Jaggedstream and Creekpaw took their places beside him, laying their smaller prey on top, still going back and forth with their chatter, mostly on Creekpaw's side, as Jaggedstream was more of an empathetic listener. The two finished their task and were on their way, Creekpaw bounding at Jaggedstream's side as they disbanded the hunting patrol and went to go on with their day. Halfsky looked over his shoulder and watched them go for a few heartbeats before noticing someone else approach the fresh-kill pile. The larger tom shifted his gaze to the newcomer. It was one of the cats from the other clans, and he didn't particularly recognize them. Nonetheless, the tom wasn't going to be rude, and dipped his head in greeting.
