Muddytoad is a compact rotund tom who appears to have two different shades in his pelt. On the surface, his coat is a chocolate brown - giving hims his 'muddy' name. Underneath that, however, are sparce flecks of ginger bits - most prominent around his eyes and on his haunches. This effect is given to having an ginger undercoat with brown overtop - essentially two different tones of fur.
His eyes are the most striking - or rather, his left eye eyes. He is a hetrochomatic cat, so one eye is an orange-brown and the other a bright blue.
Due to his age, he is beginning to silver a bit around his muzzle.
Muddytoad is a cat of good humor and low morals. He's a bit of a scoundrel - and his day, he is known to have broken many a heart. Ironic, giving his slightly dirty name, he is not keen on getting his paws dirty with messy work - passing off the worst jobs to fellow apprentices in his younger days, and now manipulating others into doing things he doesn't want to do.
He has a slightly raspy voice, what could be considered a 'smoker's voice' - and his yellowed teeth are always born in a grin. He doesn't get along well with cats his own age or older warriors - they have become wise to his tricks, after all. But to apprentices and kits, he is a favorite uncle, someone who lets them get away with murder and indeed, even encourages it.
He is a bit of a greasy, weasely fellow - but he does has his limits. Cheating, lying, buggery - these are all fine, but he draws the line at drawing blood. Deep (deep) down in his heart, he does genuinely care for the future generations of Ivyclan - but it is masked often in manipulating them into doing his bidding.
Muddytoad is Ivyclan born and bred - which is surprising to most, seeing as his nature seems to be characteristically roguish, in that he has always and will always look out for himself above all others. He was a single tom, named for his muddy pelt, and had never been a good or strong fellow. Prone to illness as a child, he eventually grew into an able-bodied cat - though he often complains of phantom illnesses in order to get others to do his bidding for him.
As an apprentice, he would often skiv off work and was the bane of his mentor - of which he actually had two. Eventually, this started in his ceremony being delayed, and being told to smarten up before he was given the boot from Ivyclan. Feigning contriteness, Muddytoad seemed to buckle down for the first time in his life. This new leaf, of course, was immediately turned back over when he was given his warrior name, and the many seasons that have passed since that day have continued on relatively the same to this day.

Carried Home is a Warriors roleplay forum. We feature four clans - all four of which have futures that heavily depend on what your characters do - as well as a 50 word count minimum on RP posts, and a functioning currency and shop.
While most of the action does center around our four clans, members are also permitted to make loners, rogues, and kittypets. You can also make both StarClan and Dark Forest characters.
