Coppertuft was lying by the warriors den in the IvyClan camp.
There had been this cough going around, fortunately he hadn't caught it, but from what he had heard it was really bad.
There wasn't much to do.
Coppertuft had gradually gotten lonely, and just went about his day - wake up, patrol, eat, drink, sleep, repeat.
He didn't talk to anyone unless they talked to him, maybe he had made himself lonely?
He sighed, and rested his head on his paws.
He wasn't positive, maybe no one wanted to talk to him?
He shook his head confusedly.
Here, in the shade, it was nice and cool.
He'd keep his mind on that for now.

The colossal deputy padded through IvyClan's territory, his large paws carrying him back through the undergrowth and trees to his Clan's camp. He was returning from a border patrol, a solo one per usual as he tended to go off by himself rather than with another. It was just a tendency of his, for he was a reserved and closed off tom cat. He would speak to others, of course, especially when giving orders, but he didn't go out of his way to befriend. Massive paws left massive footprints in the slightly damp ground as Wolfclaw moved back towards camp, his terrifying yellow gaze scanning his surroundings for any sign of danger or movement, save for the brief sound or sight of a bird or something. The cold, winter breeze ruffled his long fur, trying to bite at his skin but guarded from it by his dark, thick pelt. His tail waved behind him, muscles flexing and contracting beneath his thick fur as he moved with intimidating steps. Not long after, he reached IvyClan's camp. Looking behind him for a heartbeat, Wolfclaw stepped through the entrance, a few eyes on the massive deputy as he arrived, his gaze haunting and tufted ears perked. He moved towards the center of camp and sent out a border patrol to the MistClan border, having already checked MothClan's border himself. Feeling his stomach growl in hunger, Wolfclaw walked to the fresh-kill pile and picked up a small morsel. A mouse. Big enough to sate him and small enough to leave the bigger ones for the elders, queens, and sick as he usually did. He was reserved, but definitely not selfish. Swallowing the mouse in a single bite, the male looked around. Soon, his gaze fell upon Coppertuft, who was sitting alone, looking bored. Releasing a sigh as he rose to his feet, Wolfclaw approached him. "Coppertuft." he began, his voice booming and intimidating. "Are you up for a hunting patrol?" he asked, though it seemed more of an order rather than a statement.

"Coppertuft."
Coppertuft's name being called by the deputy's voice made him jump.
He scrambled to his paws, his ears pricked.
"Are you up for a hunting patrol?"
"Oh, u-uh, yea."
The light brown tabby tom smiled sheepishly at the bigger tom.
He did wonder why this was so sudden, but didn't question it.
He was happy to get out of camp and maybe talk a bit with Wolfclaw.
Maybe Coppertuft's hunting skills hadn't gone with just mindlessly patrolling almost every day.
He started toward the entrance and fluffed out his tail, he didn't want to freeze to death.
