Yellow eyes blink open and a tiny sound of surprise escapes the young kitten; Lionkit didn’t know where his dreams usually took him, but this place seemed too real to be a dream. The scent of pine was just too strong to all be inside his head, and the feeling of pine needles under his paws… no, this can’t be a dream. Had he been sleepwalking and ended up outside of the MothClan camp? Was this what their territory looked like? It’s… a bit more gloomy than Lionkit had expected, though he doesn’t necessarily dislike it. Sure, it’s dark and stuff, but that’s all just because it’s nighttime! Besides, a little bit of darkness never hurt anyone, right?
The kitten turns in a slow circle, looking for any landmarks or other cats. His orange pelt stands out like wildfire in this shadowy place, but the kit soon realized that even his own pawsteps seem muffled to his perked ears. The chances of seeing or hearing anyone are very low, and his sense of smell is nearly overwhelmed by the sharp scent of pine. He is unafraid though; what could these woods possibly hold that would cause him to fear?
