Cedarleap was in her den, sorting the new cure for redcough into all her other herbs. She sat up on her haunches and reached for a crack in the den that was higher up, and nestled the flowers there, coming back down onto all four legs. A unusually cold breeze blew into her den, knocking some of the herbs that were lower down, such as, now shriveled, marigold and catmint. She had been keeping the marigold there just in case another border skirmish happened. The small gray and white cat recalled fixing up Yewpaw's ear, which had been badly torn and would remain that way.
Cedarleap supposed it was a good thing that it happened, she guessed it could be a reminder of how brave she was. Cedarleap was also getting tired of how cold it was.. at least it was warmer in her den.

Sheeppaw had a bad habit of grumbling under his breath as he walked from place to place. He'd complain to himself about everything - from the antics of the kits around him, to the fact that IvyClan kept taking MothClan's new territory back. The majority of cats in the clan had learnt that it was best not to ask him what he was talking about, lest they be subjected to a long and loud rant about whatever was on the apprentice's mind.

Today, Ghostclaw had instructed him to find somebody to help. His mentor was busy doing StarClan only knows what and so off Sheeppaw had stalked to the medicine cat den. Cedarleap always needed help, right? Especially seeing as she didn't have an apprentice yet. Her legs probably meant that she needed help too. How did she even walk on them?

"Hi, Cedarleap." Sheeppaw greeted. "Do you need help with anything?"

Cedarleap heard a voice, an apprentice's. It was Sheeppaw, a curly furred white tom. "Hello, Sheeppaw! A cold breeze recently blew in here, knocking these out of the cracks," She gestured to the marigold and catmint, "You could help me with that. Here, you can put the catmint back, I'll put the marigold back. Try to be gentle with the catmint, some of the leaves are a bit shriveled." She nudged the catmint toward him with one of her paws. "Oh, and it goes here, in the crack beside the marigold." She pointed toward it with her tail, and started working on putting the marigold back.
